Free admission to collection exhibitions for the following visitors.

  1. 1.Teachers accompanying students who are visiting the museum as part of a school project. (up to high school)
  2. 2.Disabled people with a certificate: Physical Disability Certificate (Shintai Shogaisha Techo), Rehabilitation Certificate (Ryoiku Techo), Mental Disability Certificate (Seishin Shogaisha Fukushi Hoken Techo)), or Specific Medical Expenses Recipient Certificate (Tokutei Iryo Jyukyusha-sho), and one assistant accompanying a holder.
  3. 3.International Council of Museums (ICOM) members with current ICOM cards.
  4. 4.International Association of Art Critics (AICA) with current AICA cards.

Exhibitions (8th and 10th floors)

Admission fees for special exhibitions vary. For information, please call the Museum or ask at the ticket window.
* Tickets for the special exhibitions held on the 10th floor also include admission to the collection exhibition.

Public Transportation

  • Nagoya Municipal Subway 3-minute walk across the Oasis 21 park from Sakae station (H10 or M05) on Higashiyama or Meijo Lines.
  • Meitetsu Seto Line 3-minute walk across the Oasis 21 park from Sakaemachi station (ST01) on Meitetsu Seto Line.
  • From Chubu Centrair International Airport Approximately 1 hour from Chubu Centrair International Airpot by the Meitesu μ-SKY Limited Express (transfer at Kanayama Station) through the Meijo Subway Line.

By Car

  • 3 minutes from Toshin-cho Exit on Nagoya Expressway.
  • Pay parking lots are available on the underground levels of the Aichi Arts Center.

The Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art is committed to providing a welcoming and stress-free environment for all visitors.

Accessible Restroom (10th Floor)

This facility is available for individuals with disabilities, seniors, expectant mothers, and visitors with small children.

Nursing Room / Baby Care (10th Floor)

A dedicated space for breastfeeding and diaper changes is available.

Location: Inside the administrative office area (first-aid room). Please speak to the staff at the 10th-floor Information Desk for access.

Note: Sinks and kettles are not provided.

Wheelchair Rental (8th & 10th Floors)

Wheelchairs are available for use within the museum free of charge.

Where to ask: Information Desks on the 8th or 10th floor.

Availability: Limited number of units (first-come, first-served).

Admission Discounts & Exemptions

Effective April 2026: Admission to both Special and Collection Exhibitions is free for visitors with disabilities and one accompanying caregiver.

Requirement: Please present a valid disability certificate or documentation at the entrance.
